IB3 CAS presentations
ib
Today the IB seniors gave their CAS presentations. CAS stands for Creativity, Activity, and Service and is one of the core elements of the IB Diploma. In CAS, students complete a range of extra-curricular activities that they choose. CAS runs for eighteen months and students are required to be active with CAS for this entire time.
In their presentations, students gave tips to the junior students, told funny stories from their CAS experiences, and shared life lessons that they learned from their CAS. Example activities including art illumination lightwork, cycling, tennis, student council, programming, interning at a vet clinic and a zoo, and "kodomo shokudo," or lunch service for kids.
The presentations were all excellent and the seniors were in good spirits. Parents and teachers joined the presentations and these were a great opportunity for our whole IB Course community to share in the achievements of our seniors.
