Mission Statement
Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School seeks to nurture the next generation of global leaders, students who possess a penetrating intelligence combined with excellent language ability, exhibit mature interpersonal skills, and are informed at all times by a spirit of tolerance and a keen sense of justice. We believe that students with these characteristics will contribute to the peaceful development of Japan and the world.
In a globalized and computerized world, it is essential for us to concentrate on the question, “How do we develop an answer for a question that has no right answer?” rather than the more commonly asked “How much have we learned?” It is only through this change of focus that we can develop an outwardly directed spirit of learning that will lead to students engaging in dialogues to develop their problem-solving skills. Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School’s international education initiatives are guided by the Ritsumeikan Charter: Ritsumeikan Charter
