Once when I was asked to examine the testimony of a child, I realized that it was very difficult to obtain the facts accurately without giving them undue stress. I feel that obtaining accurate information is a key point in any context, including social work, judiciary work, medical care, and education. I hope we can work together to elicit from children as much accurate information as possible while minimizing their stress.

The purpose of this training program is to develop the necessary skills for interviewing children, while also providing a venue for the trainees, who hail from various disciplines and parts of Japan, to share information and network with each other. Although this is a very serious topic, we aim to offer this training with a supportive environment where everyone can share their opinions freely. We look forward to seeing you!
