On January 28, 2024, Ritsumeikan University Futsal Club All.1 invited a lecturer to conduct a medical seminar, which was attended by students from the high school futsal club and junior high school soccer club. Ritsumeikan University All.1 has been remarkably active in recent years, winning the number one position in Japan in the 2023 University Futsal Regional Champions League. The purpose of this workshop was to share what they learned at the university with junior and senior high school students in order to increase the number of players with a high standard of self-management skills as much as possible. The lectures covered a wide range of topics, including preparatory exercises, cool down, injury prevention, first aid for sprains and bruises, and practical training on taping and bandaging the ankle.
