RU Graduation Ceremony, March 2026
Ritsumeikan University will hold the University Commencement Ceremony and GLA Degree Conferral Ceremony on March 20 (JST). Graduating students, your family members and the current GLA students are welcome to attend. It will be your day, and we look forward to celebrating the beginning of your new endeavors.
1. RU Graduation Ceremony
Date: 13:00–13:40 PM, March 20, 2026 (JST)
Venue: OIC Arena (Building D, 2nd Floor)
Note: The ceremony recording will be available on the RU’s official YouTubechannel. https://www.youtube.com/@ritsumeikanu. There are no plans for a live stream.
2. GLA Degree Conferral Ceremony
Date: 14:10-15:10 PM, March 20, 2026 (JST)
Venue: "Colloquium" (Room B374), OIC Building B
Timetable:
13:40-14:10: Reception
14:10-14:15: Opening Remarks
14:15-14:20: Address from the Dean of GLA
14:20-14:25: Address from the Director of Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, ANU
14:25-14:45: Conferral RU and ANU Degrees
14:45-14:50: Graduation Address by Student Representative
14:50-14:55: Closing remarks
14:55-15:10: Group Photo Session
15:10-15:30: Proceed to the reception party at OIC Global House (Wakebayashi International Plaza)
15:30-: Starting the reception party with faculty and staff from RU and ANU
Note: Graduates must bring your Student ID card to attend the ceremony
3. Announcement for Graduation Results
Date: 6:30 AM, March 4, 2026
Method: To be announced on the “Announcements” section on manaba+R
Note: Individual Inquiries about whether your eligible will not be accepted. Please check the result on manaba+R.
