Certificates of Health

  1. Certificates of Health

Various Certificates of Health will be issued based on the results of the Annual Medical Examinations for that year. As such, certificates cannot be issued unless students have taken Ritsumeikan’s Annual Medical Examination.
If you were not able to take the Ritsumeikan Annual Medical Examination, please consult at the Medical Service Center.

Issuance Period for Certificates of Health for Employment

The timing of the issuing of Certificates of Health for employment will be decided in consultation with the Career Center, taking into consideration the status of employment examinations and the processing of Medical Examination results (interpretation of chest X-ray images, etc.). As a result, there are some fluctuations in the timing each year, but they are scheduled for around mid-May. Please pay attention to employment guidance and notices.

Issuing Certificates of Health for Employment

If you have taken Ritsumeikan’s Annual Medical Examination, the Medical Examination Certificate for employment can be issued at an automatic certificate issuing machine installed at each campus (including Tokyo Campus and Osaka Umeda Campus). However, please note that if there are any abnormalities in the result of your medical examination, you may not be able to issue a certificate unless you take the re-examination. This service is only available to students who are expecting to graduate/complete. If you are unable to issue the certificate automatically, please check with the Medical Service Center.

The location and operating times of the automatic issuing machines can be found on the Ritsumeikan University home page → Current Students → Student Support Site for Current Students → Certificates, → Issuance of Certificates. Please check the location and operating hours of the automatic issuing machine.
