The Ritsumeikan University will provide an opportunity for students to receive an influenza (flu) vaccination on campus. Vaccinations will be administered by contracted medical institutions. Please read the following information carefully and make your own decision whether to receive the vaccination.

Important Information

1. Vaccination is Voluntary
Receiving the influenza vaccine is optional. The decision to get vaccinated is entirely yours.

2. Payment
・The vaccination service is provided under an agreement between the student and the contracted hospital.
・Cash only. Cashless payment is not accepted. Please pay the vaccination fee directly to the contracted medical institution.
・The vaccination fee is 2,000 yen at all campuses, with support from the Parents' Association.
・Please bring your student ID card on the day of vaccination.

3. University's Role
The university only provides the venue and information about the vaccination program; however, it is not the provider of the vaccination service. All matters related to the administration of the vaccine, medical judgments, health consultations, and responses to adverse reactions are the sole responsibility of the contracted medical provider. Any inquiries regarding vaccination should be directed to the contracted medical provider.

4. Personal Information
Medical information related to your vaccination will be collected and managed by the contracted hospital. The university will not obtain or manage your vaccination records.

5. Other Important Notes
・Please follow all instructions given by the medical staff on the day of your vaccination.
・If you would like to consult about the vaccine or have concerns about your health condition, please contact the contracted hospital in advance.
