BKC Halloween Party!

Date: Oct 31st, 2022

On October 31st, BBP Student Staff at BKC held a Halloween event supported by the Financial Aid for Intercultural Exchange. Being the first Halloween event at BKC in 3 long years, student turnout was strong!

One of the organizers, BKC BBP Staffer Yusuke Tanigo (College of Economics, sophomore), had this to say, “We had a great turnout with over 60 students participating, making this the biggest BKC BBP event (since the arrival of covid). The event opened up with a Halloween quiz through which everyone gained a deeper understanding of the holiday. The second half consisted of a costume contest to answer the question of who was best dressed for Halloween, and everyone enjoyed showing off their own unique outfit. It turned out to be a fun event not only for the participants but for us BBP Staff running the event as well, and made it clear to me that applying for the Financial Aid for Cultural Exchange again the next time we want to hold a large event is the way to go."
