Class Support Resources

  • This is definitely the most popular group work using Zoom.
  • You can divide students into small rooms, in which they can work on discussions and activities.
  • Up to 50 rooms are available. In each room you can share sounds, movies, and screens, but the other rooms cannot access it.
  • The host (instructor) can move between the rooms. While moving between the rooms, you can monitor students' learning status.
  • If you set TA/ES as "co-host," they can also move between the rooms. For smooth operation of group work, you can let TA/ES go around the rooms with you to give support to students as necessary.
  • Room setting is adjustable using a timer function. By presetting the time, you can automatically clear a room and return the attendees back to the main meeting at a specific time.
