●Overview
Conventionally, the term "university faculty" has been defined as a university profession (faculty) that cover integrates both research and teaching. However, now discussions and institutionalization of functional differentiation such as "dedicated to research" and "dedicated to education" have begun at universities in Japan and abroad. In the midst of these developments, this forum will feature two lecturers who are active on the front lines of FD and will discuss the theme in-depth through their lectures and dialogues.
