2025 Spring Semester Saionji Memorial Scholarship Award Ceremony, College of Policy Science
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the award ceremony for the Saionji Memorial Scholarship, Spring Semester 2025, took place during lunch in the C373 Learning Theater. A total of 20 students (out of 27 recipients) attended the ceremony.
The event started with the opening remarks from Professor Michiya Mori, Vice Dean of the College of Policy Science. This was followed by a congratulatory speech from Dean Yoshida, who explained the origins of the scholarship’s name, which is named after Prince Kinmochi Saionji, and encouraged the recipients to continue striving in both academics and practice, in line with the name of our college.
The dean then awarded each recipient a certificate. After the presentation, a commemorative group photo was taken, followed by a reception. Participants were divided into four groups, where they enjoyed a light meal and interacted with fellow scholarship recipients and professors. Although the event was brief, it fostered a warm and friendly atmosphere for students to connect and take photos.
Congratulations again to all recipients of the Saionji Memorial Scholarship!
