On April 6, 2023, Ritsumeikan University's Center for East Asian Peace Cooperation Research (Kyoto, Japan; Director: Professor Sachio Nakato) and the Center for World Area Studies, Institute for Foreign Economic Policy (Sejong, Republic of Korea; Director: Senior Research Fellow Lee Kwon-hyun) signed an academic exchange agreement to promote active exchange of researchers, joint seminars and other activities, and advanced comprehensive research on peace in East Asia.
