International Research Center for Gastronomic Science

International Research Center for Gastronomic Science aims to cooperate broadly with domestic and overseas research institutions and organizations to research issues related to "eating" from the perspective of the humanities, the social sciences, and behavioral science. The research findings are then returned proactively to the international community. By accumulating information on behavior and activities related to "eating" in a comprehensive manner from the perspectives of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, the Center aims to become a core world site for gastronomic research that contributes to an understanding of different cultures internationally and innovation in food business.
