Ritsumeikan Asia-Japan Research Organization

Ritsumeikan Asia-Japan Research Organization is under the direct supervision of the University President. It serves as the nucleus of a diverse research network in collaboration with Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) and other research institutions, both in Japan and overseas. The organization's aim is to promote Asia research from a global perspective and encourage the international academic transmission and exchange. Further, the Research Organization not only fulfills research activity functions, but also serves as a comprehensive base for Asia-Pacific educational exchange and information transmission, including the use of research outcomes in educational initiatives, publication projects, and dissemination projects. The Research Organization also gives support as a site for the development of global human resources in Asia, such as providing experience communicating with local residents.
