About Ritsumeikan Mirai Nursery
-
Flexible arrival and departure times
The basic hours of operation are from 8:00 to 19:00, but children can arrive and leave according to their parents’ class schedule or working hours.
* We will ask you in advance what time you arrive and leave in order to prepare childcare activities and lunch. -
Fewer required items make the commute easy
We know how difficult it can be to commute with a child. We provide bedding, cups, and other items at the nursery to reduce the number of items you need to bring with you as much as possible. We will also dispose used diapers at the nursery so you don’t have to take them home.
-
Support for breastfed infants available
Frozen breast milk can be stored in the nursery, or you can come to the nursery during breaks to breastfeed.
-
Safe and healthy in-house food preparation
During both regular and temporary childcare, we provide meals prepared fresh at the nursery every day. If your child has food allergies, we will provide restricted meals after having you consult with the nutritionist.
* Please understand that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the menu or allergens. -
Secure facility
For the safety of small infants, we use anti-allergenic building materials and paints. All cabinet doors are equipped with earthquake-resistant latches to ensure that items will not fall out of cabinets and cause injury in the event of an earthquake.

Rewarding small-group childcare
Small-group childcare allows nursery school teachers to work more closely with the children, enabling them to provide more detailed care that meets the developmental and individual needs of each child. Mixed-age childcare activities allow the children to teach each other, learn from each other, and grow together.
