What is the “Research Proposal Contest”?
The “Research Proposal Contest” is a competition for shaping your research idea and writing an attractive research plan.
This contest is designed to help participants apply for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellowship for Young Scientists, and the application format is aligned with the JSPS program.
All participants will receive encouraging feedback and helpful advice from the judges.

Application Period:
From 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 (JST)
Award Ceremony:
To be held on Friday, October 18, 2025, at Kyoto International Conference Center
- Grand Prize – 2 students (Amazon gift card ¥50,000)
- Excellence Award – 4 students (Amazon gift card ¥20,000)
- Fighting-spirit Award – 6 students (Amazon gift card ¥5,000)
