Attention Doctoral Students!

Would you like to present your research and ideas in front of people from different fields, including universities and companies in Kyoto and Nara, and discover new opportunities for your future career and research?

Unlike academic conferences, this event is not only about presenting research results. It is also a valuable opportunity to develop transferable skills such as communicating your research to a broader audience, connecting your work to society, and engaging in meaningful dialogue with people from different backgrounds.

We encourage you to take on this exciting challenge and broaden your perspectives beyond your own field.

Presentation Formats

1. Elevator Pitch

Introduce yourself and your research in one minute, without presentation slides.
During your elevator pitch, the following information will be displayed on the screen:

• University name
• Presenter’s name
• Poster title
• Catchphrase / subtitle

2. Poster Presentation (A0-size poster)

Present your research to doctoral students from other universities as well as professionals from industry, and engage in discussions and Q&A sessions.

Notes

• Both the elevator pitch and poster presentation may be conducted in either Japanese or English.
• The university will cover the costs of poster printing and transportation to the venue.
• If the number of applicants exceeds the available slots, a selection process may be conducted.
