#KEYWORD - 01State-of-the-art Research Environment
Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering conduct significant research activities by funds from grants-in-aid for scientific research, joint research with private companies and other governmental funds. Therefore, we provide students the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and education based on the latest research activities.
The followings are delegated projects and grants we received.
Grants-in-aid for Scientific Research from Japanese Government (KAKENHI) 2021
- Accepted Amount: 1.32 billion (3rd place at private university)
- Accepted projects: 680 (3th place at private university)
- Accepted projects in the research field “Informatics”:

#KEYWORD - 02Study Abroad Program
In order to foster researchers who can take active role in international society, we offer study abroad program. In overseas IT training program in Symbiosis International University in India, graduate students acquire professional knowledge about software development, software design with the use of UML (Unified Modeling Language), PBL(Project-based Learning) based on SDLC (Software Design Life Cycle) and development of web application in Java language.
In overseas IT training program, students aim at acquiring certain view of future career while deepening knowledge of students’ professional fields, acquiring practical skills, deepening self-understanding and capturing true nature of the job throughout the internship. Students can deepen their expertise by utilizing their IT knowledge in Japanese-affiliated IT companies and local IT companies in the U.S.A, China, India and Vietnam.
In Global-ready Graduate Program (GRGP), students involve research activities at companies and research institutions in and out of Japan. The achievements can be awarded as credits. We provide students opportunities for building up integral abilities by holding practical English study before English practicum internship and follow-up classes after the internship.
#KEYWORD - 03International Students from all over the world
Over 100 students are studying in Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering. About 150 students are studying as short-term students. All international students belong to laboratories with Japanese students which gives international students opportunity to exchange their cultures.
There are many scholarship programs for Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering. We accept outstanding students from India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia as our graduate school was adopted special program from Japanese government (Monbukagakusho). We also have many other scholarship admissions.
Our graduate school also provide tuition reduction systems for outstanding international students such as 100% tuition reduction and 20% tuition reduction(one year).
#KEYWORD - 04Professors Covering Various Fields
College of Information Science and Engineering has seven courses including English medium course called Information System Global Course. Students can learn various fields of study which correspondent to society’s needs.
In Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, students can conduct their research in their professional field deeper and cross-sectional way in two courses.
There are over 100 professors in our graduate school and students can study in English under all the professors. Our professors are working hard for their research activities. Students can learn their fields based on the latest research achievements.
