Ms. Tsumugi YASUI (graduate student in the Master’s program of the Graduate School of Policy Science) received an “Award for Encouraging Research and Practice” from the Japanese Society for Environmental Education. Her research theme is “Theory, Process, and Impact Evaluation of the Environmental Education: Using the Policy Evaluation Theory and the Modified Grounded Theory Approach”. She conducted research at Higashi-Matsushima City of Miyagi Prefecture. She was awarded based on the research presentation she made in the annual conference of the Japanese Society for Environmental Education held in September of 2024.

Award ceremony will be held in October, 2025, at Kushiro campus of Hokkaido University of Education during the conference of the Japanese Society for Environmental Education.
