The practice of processing important information to increase the degree of freedom of social actors at a certain time in the future is called “planning,” which continues to be made available as new information whether it be for the private sector or public sector. Planning is one of the major pillars that constitute policy science. My educational and research interests cover a range of topics, including: regional policy designed to conserve the concept of historic cities focusing on cultural heritage; the process of planning future cities in a manner that reduces potential risks that may impact the environment, disaster mitigation, safety and security; and the design of future society and its development focused on Cyber-Physical Smart-city systems with Urban-DX and Urban-GX planning in the Society 5.0. If you are interested in studying planning science and technology, or developing planning skills, please join my laboratory.
