After serving as a JSPS Research Fellow (DC1), I worked at the Faculty of Intercultural Studies, Yamaguchi Prefectural University, before joining the College of Policy Science at Ritsumeikan University in April 2026.

My research examines regional change and human mobility in the modern and contemporary periods from geographical and data science perspectives. My recent research focuses particularly on abandoned bamboo groves.
