We have completed production on a promotional video showcasing the American University-Ritsumeikan University Joint Degree Program (JDP) that was established in the College of International Relations in 2018.
The JDP is the first program of its kind among Japanese and U.S. universities, and the first in Japan at the undergraduate level. For this program, Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and American University in Washington, D.C. have created a joint curriculum and jointly award degrees. Please watch this video, which provides an idea of what the four years of student life are like for students learning on this unprecedented new international collaborative program.
The world as seen from Japan is different to the world as seen from America.
Study Global International Relations in Kyoto, the heart of Japanese culture and in Washington D.C., the soul of international politics.
Not only a Western perspective,
This program provides an inclusive and well-rounded approach, not limited to only a Western and an Asian outlook.
People who are successful in global international relations require foresight and a creative vision.
Two Countries, two campuses – even you can enjoy this opportunity.
