The Grant for Publication of Doctoral Dissertation will be incorporated into another program beginning in AY2026. As a result, the application schedule and other details may change. *After graduation or withdrawal from the University upon expiration of the standard period of enrollment, you will no longer be able to access announcements on the RITSUMEIKAN STUDENT PORTAL or moodle+R.

Program Overview
The purpose of this program is to encourage Ritsumeikan University doctoral students to publish the research results from their doctoral dissertation as an academic book. This program provides financial assistance to support those who have earned a doctoral degree from Ritsumeikan University to publish their doctoral dissertation for the purpose of making outstanding research results in their areas of expertise open to the public.
※Applicants must submit their applications while they are enrolled at the University (except for retroactive degree holders). Please check the Application Guidelines for details.

* Retroactive degree holders are requested to contact the RARA Office by email no later than January 22, 2026, as stated in the application guidelines.
