Junior High School Speech Contest Held
On Wednesday, October 7, the Junior High School Speech Contest was held in our school's Main Hall.
Twelve representatives from the second- and third-year junior high school classes, selected through their Japanese language classes, took the stage to express their thoughts and opinions in compelling speeches. Drawing on their everyday reflections and personal experiences, the students confidently presented their ideas from their own unique perspectives.
Following the judges' evaluations, the following two students were selected for the Grand Prize and Excellence Award.
Grand Prize: "Beyond 'Yabai': Finding the Right Words" – Kanon Yabuuchi (Junior High School Year 3)
Excellence Award: "Who Decides What's Normal?" – Chikana Maehata (Junior High School Year 3)
