Blessed with beautiful weather, the 2nd Ritsumeikan Uji High School Calligraphy Club Alumni Exhibition was held at the Horikawa Oike Gallery on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18.

A total of 56 works by current Calligraphy Club members and alumni were displayed at the exhibition. A video of a calligraphy performance given by a group of female alumni on September 5 was also screened, featuring commentary by Mr. Shogan Urai.

Members of the Ritsumeikan Uji community from a wide range of generations, including alumni in their 40s and current junior high school students, came together and deepened their connections through their shared appreciation of calligraphy.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who visited the exhibition, including our faculty and staff, as well as the many other guests who joined us.
