Speech contest for junior high students
An intra-school speech contest was held to select representatives for the Uji City speech contest to be held in November. Eleven representatives from each of the 2nd and 3rd grade classes, who were selected in the Japanese language class, gave nervous but dignified presentations.
The Grand Prize was awarded to "To Live Together" by Yurisa Takemoto, Class 2-6, and the Excellence Award was given to "Choice of Life" by Muku Ito, Class 3-2.
