The 21st Entrance Ceremony of Ritsumeikan Uji Junior High School
On Saturday, April 8, the 21st Ritsumeikan Uji Junior High School Entrance Ceremony was held in the school arena. A total of 178 new students started their new junior high school life with high hopes.
In her ceremonial address, Principal Noriko Ochi spoke about "what is literacy" and "the importance of taking on challenges," to which the new students listened with earnest expressions on their faces.
After the welcome speech by the student council president, the representative of the new students, Yukito Shimosaka, gave a wonderful student pledge, showing his strong will and expectations for his future life in junior high school.After a final greeting from Ken Fukushima, the head of the first-year grade and each homeroom teacher, the new students had their pictures taken and made their way to their homeroom classrooms.
