SAT examinations
ib
On May 6, the SAT exam was held in the middle of Golden Week in Japan. Students wishing to enter universities overseas took the test from early in the morning. The SAT is now an online test, and students brought their own PCs and connected to the school's WIFI system to take the test. This was the first time for our school to conduct online testing, but prior preparation and connection testing allowed us to complete the test without any major problems. Although some were concerned about the recharging of the PCs, we were able to confirm that the test time was shortened to 2.5 hours and that the PC batteries were sufficient to handle the test.
The SAT is a standardized test for admission to U.S. universities administered by the American College Board. Our school is registered as a venue for the SAT and administers it several times a year. In addition to our students, students from other schools also take the test.
