Our school graduate "Sota Kawasaki" (Kyoto Sanga F.C.) visited our school.

On the afternoon of June 27, Sota Kawasaki (Kyoto Sanga F.C.), a graduate of our school who was selected as a member of the Samurai Blue (Japan National Team), visited Ritsumeikan Uji and had a talk with the principal, met with old teachers, and toured places that hold fond memories.

Principal Ochi expressed his enthusiasm and support for Mr. Kawasaki, his achievements and expectations for the future, and asked him about his motivation for enrolling in the school and his memories of high school life. He also asked about Mr. Kawasaki's motivation for enrolling in the school and his memories of his high school life.

When the principal asked him why he chose the kanji character for "重," which he had left in his dormitory, Kawasaki replied emphatically, "Because it is important for the team to work hard.
I wrote it with the thought that I would work hard and become an important player for the team. That feeling has not changed." This is a scene from the interview in which Kawasaki's passion for the game was conveyed.

Thank you to Mr. Kawasaki and the Kyoto Sanga F.C. staff for coming to our school.

Ritsumeikan Uji supports Mr. Kawasaki and all of our graduates who are pursuing various careers!
