Ritsumeikan-Uji scored two runs in the second inning on a double by Inaba and a double by Kouri, then scored three runs in the third inning on five hits, including three straight hits. In the 3rd inning, they scored three runs on five hits, including three straight singles, and never let up in their offensive attack, pounding the opposing ace for 13 hits.
In pitching, ace Togawa, pitching for the first time since the third round, was able to close out the Miyazu Tenkyo batting line, which had been making great strides, with only two runs.
Ritsumeikan Uji advanced to the final four for the first time in four years with four consecutive cold games from the second round. They will face Ryukoku University Heian, who will participate in the Sembatsu tournament.
The semifinals will be the first game on Wednesday, July 26.
