Reimi Hayashi, a third-year junior high school baseball player in the Kyoto Shining Venus junior high school baseball team, participated in the final game of the 8th All-Japan Junior High School Girls Baseball Tournament SP Tournament held at Wakasa Stadium Kyoto on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. They played against the Miyagi Daisies, representing Miyagi Prefecture, and won 6-0, giving the Kyoto Shining Venus, representing Kyoto Prefecture, the national championship. Hayashi entered the game in the 9th inning in left field (number 1) and led off the 6th inning with a walk and stole home first while touching up a run. She also contributed to the victory in the 7th inning when she scored the winning run with a hit to center field.
