[International Center] EdVenture (Off-campus activities for international students)

Every year, our school welcomes international students from various countries and regions around the world. In the first semester of this school year alone, more than 10 students from Germany, the U.S., France, Australia, and other countries studied at our school.

Therefore, in addition to regular classes, the school regularly organizes field trips (edventure) to directly experience Japanese culture, traditions, historical buildings, and nature. (Edventure is a made-up word from "education" and "adventure"). We are pleased to introduce the following EdVentures that took place during the first semester of this year.

April: Japanese food culture experience (Osaka)
May: Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and climbing Mt.
June: Kyoto Aquarium
September: Kibune Shrine, Kuramadera Temple, and hiking Mt.
October: Taste the exotic in Kobe

In April, we spent two hours making instant ramen noodles by hand and experienced Osaka's powdered food. In May, we visited the most popular shrine for foreigners visiting Japan and climbed to the top of the mountain. In June, we originally planned to go to Nara, but due to rain, we visited an aquarium. In September, we considered the difference between shrines and temples, and enjoyed the nature of Kurama Mountain. In October, we traveled to Kobe to visit the port and Chinatown.

Below are some photos taken at that time. Please take a look at the lively expressions on the faces of the international students.
