Third Place at the 35th National High School Women's Ekiden Race (27th in a row for 7 consecutive years)
On Sunday, December 24, the 35th National High School Ekiden Race was held at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto. Our girls' track and field team finished in third place with a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds, up one place from last year, and won the prize for the 27th time in seven consecutive years. The team was able to represent Kyoto and receive a great deal of support from the audience. At the debriefing session held after the competition, the third-year students expressed their hopes for their juniors, while the second-year and first-year students expressed their strong determination for next year. We would like to ask for your continued support and encouragement for our women's track and field team.
