Won third prize at the 8th Gourmet Koshien.
On February 12, a team of students from our school won third place at the 8th Gourmet Koshien held in Minabe-cho, Wakayama Prefecture.
This team is the "Ume no Toriko" team, which is a core exploration class.
Ten teams were selected from 37 teams to actually serve the dishes.
The "Ume no Toriko" team utilized ume, a specialty of Wakayama Prefecture, to create a creative dish of ume rice balls rolled with meat and served takoyaki style, which left visitors with a taste sensation.
