Second-year junior high school students take a language course in Cebu
Twenty-seven second-year junior high school students visited Cebu Island in the Philippines for eight days from February 4 to 11 to study English.
During this week, they stayed at a local language school and took English lessons for as many as 10 hours a day. Despite their short stay, the students were able to see their English skills improve through intensive study.
On the Saturday before returning home, the students had the opportunity to enjoy shopping at a shopping mall. Local students accompanied each group, and the students were able to enjoy shopping while communicating in English. They had a fulfilling time and were able to interact with different cultures using English.
We believe that this week was also a good opportunity for them to experience different cultures. We hope that the students will use this valuable experience to broaden their perspectives and acquire rich communication skills in their future school life.
