Calligraphy Club Exhibition at Art Space Rokuhara
The Ritsumeikan Uji Calligraphy Club, celebrating its 42nd year, held an exhibition at Art Space Rokuhara on March 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd (Sunday). The exhibition featured works primarily from alumni who graduated between 2009 and 2023.
The exhibition was divided into two rooms, one showcasing the works of current students and the other displaying the works of graduates. In the current students' room, there were impressive pieces that had won awards at the Calligraphy Koshien, exuding a powerful presence. Meanwhile, the graduates' room was filled with works that stood out for their freedom, colorful vibrancy, and elegance.
In addition to the artworks, there was a photo exhibition showcasing the history of the Calligraphy Club, making it a gathering place for graduates and parents alike, offering a relaxing and enriching experience.
