On July 14th and 15th, the 2024 Kyoto Prefectural Middle School General Athletics Tennis District Tournament was held at the Doshisha International Junior High School tennis courts.

Individual Singles Achievements:

- Mai Sakaue achieved an impressive 2nd place.

- Ruka Tatehana reached the semi-finals. Both players secured spots in the Kyoto Prefectural Tournament.

Individual Doubles Success:

- The pairs of Sakurai and Ikeda, and Kato and Hasegawa reached the semi-finals.

- The pairs of Okamoto and Matsumura, Nakajima and Kamiya, and Matsubara and Iga reached the quarter-finals. All these pairs have qualified for the Kyoto Prefectural Tournament.

Team Competition Recap:

- Our team was narrowly defeated by Doshisha International Junior High School with a score of 2-3, finishing in 2nd place.

The girls' tennis team is set to compete next in the "77th Kyoto Prefectural Middle School General Athletics Tennis Tournament" on July 26th and 27th at Saiin Park Tennis Courts.
