[WOW Program] Wins Grand Prize at "KYOTOGRAPHIE" Kids Photo Contest 2025!
Tomoki Kaname (9th Grade) Wins Grand Prize in the “KYOTOGRAPHIE Kids Photo Contest 2025”!
– From the WOW Program: “Let’s Enter KYOTOGRAPHIE”
Tomoki Kaname, a 9th-grade student who participated in last March’s WOW Program, “Let’s Enter KYOTOGRAPHIE,” won the Grand Prize in the elementary and junior high school division (Grades 6 to 9) for his photograph titled “A Train is Coming.”
The KYOTOGRAPHIE Kids Photo Contest 2025 invited children from grades 1 through 9 across the Kansai region to submit photos under the theme of “Humanity.”
Out of more than 700 entries this year, 74 outstanding works were selected as award-winning photos. Among them, one top winner was chosen in each division—and Tomoki’s photo received the highest honor in his category.
Tomoki's journey with photography began when he got his first compact camera as a child. Since then, he has honed his skills by capturing things he loves and finding his own creative approach. This award is a wonderful result of his dedication and passion.
It was a truly special opportunity where he experienced the joy of being recognized for doing what he loves.
Congratulations once again!
