Ritsumeikan Uji Panthers Win Kansai Championship for the First Time in 12 Years — Fourth Title in School History

On Sunday, June 22, the final game of the Kansai High School American Football Championship was held at MK Taxi Field EXPO. Ritsumeikan Uji High School’s PANTHERS faced off against Kansai University Daiichi High School KAISERS and secured a 24-14 victory, clinching their fourth Kansai championship and their first in 12 years.

Ren Oshika from Ritsumeikan Uji was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game.

The venue was filled with excitement, with cheerleaders and the school brass band leading the crowd. Classmates and families cheered passionately, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of support and celebration.
