High School Baton Twirling Club Wins “Grand Prix” at the 50th Kyoto Prefectural Championship!
On Saturday, June 21, the 50th Kyoto Prefectural High School Baton Twirling Contest was held at Yamashiro General Sports Park Gymnasium.
In this commemorative 50th anniversary event, the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Baton Twirling Club achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning the Gold Prize "Grand Prix" for the fourth consecutive year.
As a result of this achievement, the team has been nominated to represent Kyoto Prefecture at the 2026 National High School Cultural Festival, which will be held in Akita Prefecture.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who came out to support the team on the day of the event.
The team will continue to strive for further improvement as they prepare for the next competition.
