The third round of the 107th National High School Baseball Championship Kyoto Tournament took place on Tuesday, July 15, at Wakasa Stadium Kyoto.

Although Ritsumeikan Uji initially held a 4-run lead, the opposing team managed to tie the score in the top of the 4th inning. In the bottom of the 6th, leadoff batter Iida brought back momentum with an RBI single to center field, putting the team back in the lead. Shortly after, Taniguchi, batting fifth, delivered a clutch 3-run double to left field, extending the lead to four runs once again.

The team added another run in the bottom of the 8th, solidifying the victory and securing a place in the next round.

Ritsumeikan Uji will face Saikyo High School in the first game of the day on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Wakasa Stadium Kyoto.
