On July 22, 2025, Ritsumeikan Uji High School faced off against Saijoyo High School in the quarterfinals of the Kyoto High School Baseball Tournament. At this pivotal moment, the school’s brass band and cheerleading teams delivered their full support from the stands.

To back every player on the field, the cheering squad performed original musical pieces and routines that had been carefully prepared in advance. The coordinated blend of energizing music and vibrant cheerleading dances lifted the atmosphere, turning the entire stadium into a sea of Ritsumeikan Uji spirit. One of the highlights was the performance featuring placards inspired by “The Greatest Showman,” which drew thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.

With a hard-fought 8–4 victory, the team’s perseverance on the field, paired with the unwavering support of their peers, led Ritsumeikan Uji to the semifinals!

Next up is the semifinal match on Friday, July 25. Even more current students are expected to join the cheering section on this big day. Let’s rally together in the stands and lead our baseball team to victory!
