[Junior High School Girls' Tennis Team] Strong Performances in Both Individual and Team Events at Kyoto Prefectural Tournament! Qualified for the Kinki Regional Tournament!
On Thursday and Friday, July 25–26, the 78th Kyoto Prefectural Junior High School General Sports Tournament (Tennis Division) was held at Saiin Park Tennis Courts. Our junior high school girls' tennis team delivered outstanding performances in both the individual and team competitions.
Individual Results
Three players participated in singles and four pairs in doubles, all of whom fought valiantly.
Singles Division
Mai Sakagami achieved an impressive 3rd place finish, earning a spot in the “Kinki Junior High School General Sports Tournament” to be held on August 5.
Doubles Division
The pair of Kato and Hasegawa reached the top 8, also qualifying for the “Kinki Junior High School General Sports Tournament.”
The remarkable results in the individual competitions are a testament to the hard work and dedication shown in daily practice.
Team Results
The team competition featured exciting matches from the first round.
With tension running high, the team secured a 3–2 victory to advance to the second round.

Faced with a powerful opponent, the team was narrowly defeated.
Match for 2nd Place vs Doshisha International JHS: ● 1–3
Despite a tenacious effort, the team fell short, ultimately securing 3rd place in the team competition.
