Ritsumeikan Uji Graduate Now Attending Minerva University Delivers Lecture for Faculty Members

~ A Culmination of Our School’s Global Education ~

On June 30, a graduate who had successfully been admitted to Minerva University in the United States—known as one of the most selective universities in the world—returned to our school. With the cooperation of Benesse Corporation, a special lecture for our faculty members on admission to overseas universities was held.

Minerva University offers an innovative education without a traditional campus, with students studying across seven cities around the world, and is renowned for cultivating exceptional global talent. The achievement of our graduate, who overcame the intense competition to gain admission, served as an inspiration to many of our faculty members.

This graduate began their journey in global education in our school’s English immersion program “Rits Kids” during elementary school, and went on to experience a wide range of our school’s global education programs throughout junior and senior high school. Their admission to Minerva University is a testament to this long learning journey and truly represents the culmination of our global education program.

In the lecture, the graduate shared specific and practical insights into preparing for admission to overseas universities, the application process, and their actual experience of applying. Faculty participants commented that it was “an excellent opportunity to reflect on how best to support our students.”

Our school will continue to enhance its education with a global perspective, aiming to nurture students who will succeed on the world stage. We wholeheartedly wish this graduate—now embarking on a new challenge at Minerva University—continued growth and success as they take flight into the world.
