From Tuesday, July 29 to Friday, August 1, 2025, the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Soccer Club participated in the “Summer Cup in Uozu 2025”, held in Uozu City, Toyama Prefecture.

This was our first time participating in this tournament, and under the excellent natural environment and well-organized management, our team gained valuable experience through matches against top teams from across Japan.

In each match, our players showed their strengths and demonstrated an aggressive attitude toward scoring. Although we were narrowly defeated in the knockout stage, the team displayed great persistence and fighting spirit until the very end.

This expedition marked the last full-team trip for our third-year students. It was a valuable opportunity to reaffirm team unity in preparation for the upcoming championship qualifiers and the second half of the league season. Throughout the trip, teamwork was evident not only on the field but also in daily life.

We sincerely thank all the tournament organizers for their warm hospitality and excellent event management. Building on this experience, we aim to grow further as we head into the official matches this fall.
