[EXPO Report] High School Health Committee Shares Messages of Life and Peace at “Future Earth School”
On August 8 (Fri.) and 9 (Sat.), the High School Health Committee of our school exhibited at the special project “Future Earth School” held at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.
The theme was “Enhancing Life: 55 Years Since the Last Osaka Expo — The Unbroken Baton of Life”. To share the importance of life and peace with visitors, the students planned and operated a display of essays and a participatory art project titled “Tree of Life.”
At the venue, many visitors contributed colorful messages and stickers to the “Tree of Life,” creating one large, vibrant tree. Through this interactive art experience, the space allowed people to feel the connections among diverse forms of life and understand the SDGs on a deeper level. In addition, the students engaged with visitors from both Japan and abroad, sharing thoughts and ideas with one another.
Being able to present their own project on the global stage of the Expo became a significant source of learning and confidence for the students. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported this initiative.
