[Junior High SA Nihon Buyo] Aguri Kida Performs Noh and Kotsuzumi on a Traditional Stage
On Friday, August 8, Aguri Kida, a second-year student at our Junior High School, participated in the “Traditional Theater Training 2025” held at the Oe Noh Theater and gave a performance of Noh and kotsuzumi (a traditional hand drum).
This event offers participants from both Japan and abroad a valuable opportunity to learn the techniques and spirit of traditional Japanese performing arts under the guidance of top-class instructors, and to showcase their achievements on stage.
Kida impressed the audience with her refined skills and expressive performance developed through daily practice. Her presence on stage conveyed the beauty of Japanese traditional culture to audiences both domestic and international.
We look forward to her continued success and further achievements in the field of traditional performing arts.
