[High School Track and Field Club] Ontake Training Camp I
From Sunday, August 4 to Saturday, August 10, the High School Track and Field Club held their summer training camp at the Hida Ontake Highland Altitude Training Area in Mt. Ontake, Gifu Prefecture.
An Ideal Training Environment Unique to High Altitudes
Located at a high elevation, the Ontake Highlands offered cooler temperatures than Kyoto, providing ideal weather conditions for training. Taking full advantage of this environment, the team was able to focus on intensive daily practice and work on improving their athletic performance.
Growth and Independence Through the Camp
Throughout the camp, students not only worked on track and field techniques, but also learned valuable life lessons. By living according to a disciplined routine, they developed the ability to think and act independently, and the team further strengthened their unity and camaraderie.
Gratitude to All Who Supported Us
This training camp was made possible thanks to the generous support and cooperation of many individuals. On behalf of all team members, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped us.
We will continue to build on the experience gained during this camp and train hard for upcoming competitions. We sincerely appreciate your continued support of the High School Track and Field Club.
