Junior High School Soccer Team Wins Preliminary Match in the Prince Takamado Trophy U-15 League Kyoto 2025 Playoffs
On Saturday, September 6, the Junior High School Soccer Team competed in the preliminary match of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-15 Soccer League 2025 Kyoto Playoffs and defeated Girasole Kyoto A.C. with a score of 2–1, advancing to the main tournament.
This tournament had often been out of reach as the team mostly played in Division 2, but after being relegated to Division 3 this season, they topped Block E and earned a spot in the playoffs and main tournament for the first time since 2011.
Despite the difficult circumstance of the third-year students returning home late the night before from a school trip, each player fulfilled their role and contributed to the victory.
The main tournament will begin on Saturday, October 4. The team will now focus on preparing to win their first match.
