On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the first round of the All Japan High School American Football Kyoto Prefectural Qualifier was held at Doshisha University Ground. The Ritsumeikan Uji High School Panthers faced off against the Ryukoku University Heian High School White Elephants and won by a mercy rule with a 41-point lead partway through the 3rd quarter.

After being crowned the champions of Kansai in Spring 2025, the Panthers now aim to reclaim their national title at the Christmas Bowl. Please stay tuned for their journey to the top!
